Loose motorcycle wheel
The wheel is removed from the motorcycle and dropped off to us loose.
Motorcycle fitting is currently available in Täby and Sollentuna.

The fitting price covers the whole job, from removing the old tyres to balanced, fitted wheels back on the car.
Modern fitting machine
We use modern machines with fitting heads that never touch the rim edge. We also have some that are fully joystick-operated for extra protection against scratches.
Computerised balancing
Balancing is always included. We spin the wheel at high speed and verify it runs evenly throughout the full rotation.
New valve recommended
Rubber valves dry out and crack over time. We recommend replacement while the tyre is already off the rim to prevent problems later.
TPMS check
We have tools to read almost all tyre pressure sensors and check the battery level. Let us know when you book, or before we start, if you suspect it's time.
Your own tyres or ones bought from us
We fit tyres regardless of where they come from. Bought at Däckgruppen or brought along in the boot.
Recycling of old tyres
We dispose of your old tyres in accordance with the regulations. No disposal fees. We take care of it.

How long does the fitting take?
Usually 40–60 minutes for a complete change of four wheels. Book online at your workshop to secure a time.
What tyre sizes can you fit?
We fit car tyres in sizes 13"–24". We also fit motorcycle tyres and smaller rims for scooters, lawnmowers etc. Contact us for an approximate price on the smaller ones.
Do I have to replace the valve?
No, but we strongly recommend it while the tyre is already off the rim. Rubber valves dry out and crack. Replacing one now (39 kr each) is cheaper than a slow leak and a new appointment to remove the tyre again.
Do TPMS sensors need replacing?
TPMS sensors have a built-in battery. We've seen sensors last around 7–10 years on average. We can read and check the battery level and replace sensors while the tyres are already being removed. Let us know before your booked time so we can make sure we have sensors in stock. We also apply a surcharge for fitting tyres with TPMS installed, most commonly with low-profile tyres where the risk of the sensor getting pinched is higher (60 kr/wheel).
Do you repair scratched rims?
We use contactless fitting heads that don't scratch the rim edge. If you already have scratches from before, we can refer you to rim refurbishment. Ask at reception. We can also arrange to send your rims off for refurbishment during the storage period if you're a tyre hotel customer with complete wheels.
Can I come as a drop-in?
A booked appointment is always safest. We accept drop-ins subject to availability but cannot guarantee a short wait without a booking, especially during the peak weeks of the season. We can sometimes take in loose tyres for fitting and have them ready the next day or at an agreed time. An estimate is given on the spot depending on the fitting queue.
Do you dispose of my old tyres?
Yes. We handle the recycling of old tyres in accordance with regulations, with no disposal surcharges. If you want to keep the tyres (e.g. if they're still serviceable for another season) just let us know.
Buying tyres at Däckgruppen
We always include fitting, balancing and the wheel swap in our tyre prices so the total cost on the car is easy to see. The prices listed above therefore don't apply when you buy the tyres from us, since fitting is already included.
Can you fit tyres I bought myself?
Yes, we fit tyres regardless of where you bought them. Bring them in the boot for your booked appointment. Tyres unfortunately can't be sent directly to the workshop.
